Information for Visitors 

Booking

Bookings may be made through the Secretary's office, by telephone, letter, fax or email. Confirmation is required within 21 days, accompanied by a non-returnable deposit of £15 sterling per player, otherwise the booking may be cancelled. The balance of fees is due on the day of visit, prior to commencement of play. Cheques should be made payable to "Wallasey Golf Club Ltd". Payment by credit card is accepted subject to an additional charge of 2.5%

Tees

Play is from the yellow tees (Course 6323 yards). Ladies play from the red LGU tees (5844 yards)

Dress

Correct golf attire must be worn on the links. Tailored shorts may be worn with white sports socks or knee-length hose. Shirts should be tucked in. Collarless shirts, jeans, combat trousers, tracksuits and trainers are not acceptable on the links or in the clubhouse.

Smart casual clothing is accepted in the clubhouse.

Our Stud Bar welcomes players who have not changed after golf or who are wearing golf shoes. Wet clothing or waterproofs may not be worn indoors.

Green Fees

Summer 2008 (British Summer Time):- Weekdays: One round £70 ; All Day £80

Weekends and public holidays: One round £85 ; All Day £95

Winter 2008 (British Standard Time):– Daily rate £40

Societies (weekdays only).

Special rates apply to societies of 16 or more, depending on numbers and times. Catering may be arranged through the office.

Handicap Certificates.

Visitors must have acquired golfing skills and hold a current Club or Society handicap. Handicap certificates must be available on the day of play

Directions - by road 

From the M53

Leave the motorway at junction 1 following the signs for New Brighton, A554. The road runs into a residential area and the clubhouse is on the left after 400 yards.

From Liverpool

Take the Wallasey Tunnel (Kingsway). On exiting the toll booths continue straight on following the signs for the M53 motorway. After 1 mile exit at the slip road following the signs for New Brighton, A554. At the roundabout beneath the motorway take the third exit, following the signs for New Brighton, A554. The road runs into a residential area and the clubhouse is on the left after 400 yards.
