The Ladies Section of Wallasey Golf Club.

Thankyou very much for showing an interest in joining Wallasey Golf Club as a full playing member of the Ladies section.

The Ladies of Wallasey are a very active group of likeminded women who enjoy their golf and all the associated social aspects which go hand in hand with it.

In golfing terms the Ladies play regular events which are split over Sunday and Tuesday to allow as many as possible to play qualifying competitions for handicap purposes. They also have 3 teams who play matches against other clubs in the Northwest of England and have mixed social golf such as the Friday evening ‘ham and eggs sessions’

There is really something for everyone. So if you are a novice we can help you improve and if you are a more established player then the opportunities are there to play good quality club and County golf.

At the time of writing Wallasey ladies are holders of the Millenium Links trophy and are pictured here in our elegant clubhouse

The Senior Ladies regularly meet on the first Friday of the month for a luncheon, there is a Business Women section aimed at the members who are working and might only have a chance to play mid-week evenings, and there is a range of social events some of which are solely for the Ladies, and some, like the Summer Ball, which embrace the whole club.

You are invited to try our WInter Warmer Golf Package, giving membership from Nov 2020 to March 2021 (inclusive)

This is aimed at established Lady Golfers (handicap required)

With our links course being open throughout the year, this is ideal for those whose own course frequently closes in the winter months.
